Clashes and explosions erupted in central Khan Yunis on Monday after resistance security groups confronted vehicles belonging to collaborators attempting to advance into the area.
According to Quds Network, three vehicles carrying individuals described as collaborators moved toward the Abu Hamid roundabout in the center of the city before being intercepted.
Witnesses said resistance security units initiated the engagement by directly targeting one of the vehicles as it approached the area.

Sources told Quds Network that the targeted vehicle was struck by a projectile, causing a powerful explosion that ignited a fire and led to casualties among those inside. Local sources confirmed that both dead and wounded were reported within the ranks of the collaborators. Video footage circulating on social media showed the vehicle completely burned, with flames engulfing it following the strike.
According to local accounts, resistance security units set up a coordinated ambush after detecting the movement of the vehicles. The operation developed into intense armed clashes, coinciding with the targeting of the vehicle, as resistance groups engaged the infiltrating force.
