Palestinians Will Not Abandon Their Land
Palestinian Islamic Jihad Secretary-General Ziad al-Nakhalah said Tuesday that Palestinians remain steadfast against Israeli-US aggression and will continue defending their historical rights, Al Mayadeen reported.

His statement marked the movement’s 39th anniversary and the third anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

Al-Nakhalah described the operation as a “natural response to Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people,” saying Palestinians had endured continuous aggression for three years.  He said the aggression was entering its fourth year with more than 80,000 Palestinians killed. Those killed across the different fronts, he added, would remain present in history.

The Islamic Jihad leader condemned continuing attempts to displace Palestinians from Gaza, calling them “clear evidence of the malicious objectives of the entity and its allies, foremost among them the United States.”
