Netanyahu Rejects Displaced Residents’ Return
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the return of Palestinians displaced from northern West Bank refugee camps on Tuesday, vowing that Israeli occupation forces would remain in control.

His remarks came during a visit near Tulkarm refugee camp alongside Defense Minister Israel Katz and senior military officers, according to a video released by his office.  Netanyahu described the camp as a “terrorist stronghold” and claimed Israeli troops had cleared it on his government’s orders.

Responding to a recent Israeli Supreme Court ruling concerning displaced Palestinians’ return, he said: “These are not residents, these are terrorists.”

Israeli occupation forces have prevented thousands of Palestinians displaced from Jenin, Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps since early 2025 from returning to their homes.
