Violations Across West Bank
Israeli occupation forces and settlers carried out 1,637 violations across the occupied West Bank during April, according to a new report issued by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
Head of the commission, Moayad Shaaban, said Israeli occupation forces carried out 1,097 violations during April, while settlers were responsible for 540 attacks. The report described the violations as part of a “systematic policy” of violence and pressure targeting Palestinians across the occupied West Bank.
According to the data, Nablus recorded the highest number of incidents with 402 violations, followed by Hebron (Al-Khalil) with 340, then Ramallah and al-Bireh with 312, and Bethlehem with 171.
The violations included physical assaults, arson attacks, uprooting and poisoning trees, confiscation of property, preventing farmers from accessing their land, and demolitions of homes and agricultural facilities.
The report also documented the closure of large areas under what Israel described as “security” measures.
