Hidden hand of US counter-terrorism guides PA

The extent to which the US bureau of counterterrorism is directing the PA in how to defeat anti-Israel or pro-Islamist militants is partly revealed in this State dept report – though it doesn’t mention sharing intelligence with Israeli security which it surely does. It leaves propaganda work to the PA. The key work of finding where the money comes from, how to trace it, how it’s laundered seems straight out of a CIA handbook.

Shabak knock hilltop youth off their perch

The exploits of ‘hilltop youth’, especially the murder by burning of three of the Dawabsheh family, have done more harm to Israel’s reputation. The Shin Bet at last has begun a programme of detention of the main actors and there has been a corresponding fall in the number of attacks on Palestinians. Doubts may be raised about the legality of the detentions.

Jewish zealots on the rampage

Following the break-up of another Jewish terror cell (see posting below) we take a look at how American media have been responding to the fact of Israeli Jewish terrorists who attack Christian, Muslim and just Palestinian targets.

Another firebombing, another Dawabsheh

The trial of three young Jews indicted for the murder of the Dawabsheh family by arson began last month. This week, a relative who is the chief witness and has not yet been called, had his home firebombed. The damage was extensive and his wife is in shock. It is assumed the attackers are drawn from the growing group of ultra-Zionist Jewish youth who recognise no laws but their own interpretation of the Torah.

Jewish terrorists want to overthrow Israel – Shin Bet

Shin Bet may possibly save the state of Israel from its own citizens. The agency appears to be single-handedly trying to identify and break up the network of Jewish terrorists. There is no way back if Israel is seen to condone family murder.

Jewish terrorists today

From hilltop youth through price-taggers then extremists to terrorists. Shin Bet has recognised what has grown in their midst: a band of brothers who, like ISIL, terrorise by violence, are fixated on fire, and want to destroy the state. Ynet talks to those involved.

Horror! Israeli suspects treated a bit like Palestinians!

The killing of three of the Dawabsheh family last July was a rarity in that it shocked the Israeli public. The failure to bring anyone to trial – given Shin Bet’s reputation for gathering information – fuelled the escalating violence. Shin Bet knows the culprits says Al Monitor but lacksthe evidence for a conviction. Now under pressure arrests have been made reports Richard SIlverstein. It’s a trial of strength between Shin Bet and the settlers.
