Russell Tribunal on Palestine launched
As you’ve now probably heard, the Russell Tribunal on Palestine has been launched on 4 March in Brussels. The press conference was a success, 28 journalists attended (including Reuters), around 100 people altogether (ambassadors, writers, senators, directors…) were present.
The next step is now to organise what we had started working on last year: A UK national committee.
The goals of the national committee will be:
– Raise awareness about the tribunal (create a national support committee with famous names….)
– Fundraise
– Start thinking about local experts that could take part in it (historians, lawyers, scientist, physicians…)
The tribunal first session should take place by the end of the year at the latest
