Mariam Barghouti writes from Ramallah about the emotional and phuysical exhaustion and burnout among the Palestinians under occupation and siege: “If I were to describe the past 26 weeks, it would be one hour after another of just barely pulling through.”

She adds:

“What stands between our eradication and our survival is you, the global community. As Israel unleashed its genocidal force onto us, it implicated the rest of the world.”

We are all implicated. And, as Passover approaches, we must remember the universal message of the Exodus: “For we were strangers in Egypt.”

We cannot and must not stand aside now.
