In the face of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, it is more important than ever that JJP speaks out loudly and clearly.
The catastrophe we have witnessed unfolding over recent years is anathema to the Jewish values and ideals we grew up with. We have said repeatedly that what is happening is ‘not in our name‘.
The situation in both Gaza and the West Bank is horrific. JJP is determined to increase our campaigning activities against what is happening. We need to mobilise as many British Jews and supporters as possible to demand justice for the Palestinians. But the scale of what we will be able to do will depend at least in part on the financial and other support you can give us.
Jews for Justice for Palestinians was founded in 2002 and since then we have consistently stood up for the values we were founded to defend. Yet we need to do more – now more than ever. We have a large membership, we have significant human resources (as our recent skills inventory has made clear), and large numbers of people are willing to make a contribution in whatever way they can.
But to make use of what we have, to step up our campaigning and education work, we need organisation and co-ordination. To that end, we have employed a skilled organiser on a part-time basis to help us expand the range and number of campaigns we are able to engage in. This will require much higher levels of funding, both now and into the future.
We ask you, our signatories, supporters and friends, to help JJP respond to the urgency of the current and deteriorating situation.
Our treasurer says: All donations are welcome, and regular donations will be especially helpful in sustaining this additional work.
JJP has never charged a membership fee and does not intend to change this now. Most of our work has always been done on a voluntary basis, and over the years we have relied on donations. A number of you have set up regular donations and these have sustained our day-to-day costs, which we have always strived to keep low. We hugely appreciate all this support, without which much of our work would not have been possible.
Ways to support our campaigning
The more we raise the more we will be able to do. Please therefore consider donating whatever you are able to – whether it’s £2, £20, £200, £2000 or any other amount.
Please help us now. It has never been more urgent. To donate, please visit this page: https://jfjfp.com/thank-you-for-responding-to-jjps-2025-campaign-appeal/
Thank you for your support for JJP.
