ISRAELI SETTLEMENT GOODS IN INTERNATIONAL LAW
ILLEGALITY, LEGAL REMEDIES AND THE ‘PROFUNDO’ REPORT

Thousands of goods originating from Israeli settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territories are imported into Britain and sold in our shops and supermarkets each year. The meeting will discuss the issues surrounding the legality of settlement produce, the legal remedies which might exist against the importation and sale of such goods and the findings of the recent Profundo report on the topic which was commissioned by the Sir Joseph Hotung Programme on Law, Human Rights and Peace Building in the Middle East (SOAS).
