Is Peace Out of Reach? – CBS’s “60 Minutes” Report on Settlement Activity in the West Bank

On 25 January veteran reporter Bob Simon presented a 13-minute segment on CBS’s “60 Minutes” on how settlements were undermining the possibility of a two-state solution. It included interviews with Mustapha Barghouti, Meron Benvenisti and settler spokesperson Daniella Weiss. Not unexpectedly, it provoked a lively reaction.
